Family

Dr. Mom Pediatrics wants you to be part of our family. Having a dependable provider to ask your questions.

  • Taralyn Weiser, MD. Dr. Tara was born and raised in Wichita, KS. She graduated from Newman University with a BS in Chemistry and a BA in Biology. She then completed her medical degree at The University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City and Wichita. She completed her Pediatric residency at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS.

  • After residency, Dr. Tara practiced at Hays Pediatric Center in Hays, KS for a couple of years. She then returned to Wichita to become a pediatric hospitalist with The University of Kansas School of Medicine—Wichita where she loved teaching residents and medical students. During that time, she received several teaching awards. After that she transitioned to Mid-Kansas Pediatrics where she practiced until 2019.

  • After a few years off to take care of herself, Dr. Tara is excited to practice medicine again. Dr. Tara loves to work with children and young adults of all ages, and, as mentioned above, she loves to teach—patients and families as well as medical students and residents. In her free time, Dr. Tara enjoys spending time with her very spoiled orange cat, Fred, and doing various crafts. Currently her favorite craft projects are making journals and learning hand embroidery. She aspires to sell her journals and other paper crafts at a craft fair one day.

  • Jennifer Brannon, MD Dr. Jennifer is a board-certified pediatrician who grew up in Wichita, KS and Puebla, Mexico. She has been married 19 years and has 3 children. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology and Spanish at Pittsburg State University and then went on to study medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine (Kansas City and Wichita).

  • After graduating from medical school, she stayed in Wichita at Wesley Medical Center for her residency. After residency, she decided to stay in Wichita and worked as faculty teaching as an Assistant Professor in the Pediatrics Department, helping medical students and residents learn how to care for kids of all ages. One of her main areas of focus during that time was breastfeeding medicine.

  • She took some time off from regular practice while her dad was terminally ill and her kids were small, but she is looking forward to caring for your children. Her family has one dog, a Cavapoo named Buddy, who is very spoiled and laid back. Dr. Jennifer is fluent in reading, writing, and speaking Spanish, having grown up in Mexico and attended a Mexican school. She loves to read, and she has discovered a love of reading eBooks using her Libby and Kindle Apps on the phone. She enjoys spending time with her husband, kids, and mom, as well as volunteering at her kids’ school. She loves learning about new things and rarely passes up a bowl of ice cream.

Tamra Lemley, MD is the founder of Dr. Mom Pediatrics. She is a board certified pediatrician and fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics. She founded Dr. Mom Pediatrics to provide quality patient care without the time restriction and other limitations of traditional clinics and insurance. Through making home visits and establishing meaningful relationships, Dr. Lemley made a lasting impact on the children of Wichita. She is no longer practicing pediatrics in the Wichita area.
